Clones
In my “spare time” this fall, I had the opportunity to help Jill Williamson, author of the Blood of Kings Series, with a book trailer for her upcoming book Replication! It was quite fun and definitely piqued my interest in the book. I’m super excited about it and can’t wait to read it now!
Here’s the book blurb from Jill Williamson’s website:
Someone is covering up multiple secrets…
Martyr—otherwise known as Jason 3:3—is one of hundreds of clones kept in a remote facility called Jason Farms. Told that he has been created to save humanity, Martyr has just one wish before he is scheduled to “expire” in less than a month. To see the sky.
Abby Goyer may have just moved to Alaska, but she has a feeling something strange is going on at the farm where her father works. But even this smart, confident girl could never have imagined what lies beneath a simple barn. Or what would happen when a mysterious boy shows up at her door, asking about the stars.
There are two trailers – one from Abby’s perspective and one from Martyr’s.
You can also see the videos on Jill’s website here.
Prizes include: a brand new Amazon kindle, your very own star named after you (fascinating, right?), ebook downloads, and the chance to become a Books-for-Life Guild Member and receive a free signed copy of every book he writes! Very nice!

The Errant King is the second book in the Dark Sea Annals Series. A while back, I wrote a review of the first book Sword in the Stars. Here’s a link to the review if you care to read it: Sword in the Stars Review!
As far as my own writing goes, I’m still plugging away and waiting until the end of the semester to gain some real headway!

Whoo, Lord of The Rings after long hikes! I went trekking on an award scheme with my school and – nerdy lot that we are – we decided we were orc-hunting. We even hummed/sang the theme song on the way. Best motivation ever.
Glad you had such a fantastic Thanksgiving – I'm British, so unfortunately I don't know much about it – and those competitions sound awesome! If only schoolwork actually allowed me time to enter them xP

Haha, that's awesome! Nothing better than a little theme music to help you out.
Yes, unfortunately, school work tends to bog one down… :)
