OFFICIAL BIO:
Gillian Bronte Adams writes epic fantasy novels, including the award-winning Of Fire and Ash and The Songkeeper Chronicles, and loves strong coffee, desert hikes, and trying out new soup recipes on crisp fall nights. Her favorite books are the ones that make your heart ache and soar in turn. When she’s not creating vibrant new worlds or dreaming up stories that ring with the echoes of eternity, she enjoys bringing life to the words on the page as an audiobook narrator. At the end of the day, she can be found off chasing sunsets with her horse or her dog, Took.
WRITING CAREER:
Storytelling began at an early age for Gillian, but it was during her senior year in high school that she began to pursue writing and the road to publication in earnest. That road took her down a few twists and turns as she studied novels, practiced the art of writing, submitted to contests, and began to attend writers’ conferences where she eventually met and signed with an agent and publisher.
Orphan’s Song, book one of the Songkeeper Chronicles, released Fall 2014 from Enclave Publishing, followed in the Spring of 2015 by Out of Darkness Rising from Magpie Eclectic Press. Songkeeper, book two in the Songkeeper Chronicles, joined the mix in Spring of 2016 and the third book, Song of Leira, released Summer 2018.
Of Fire and Ash, book one of The Fireborn Epic, a YA epic fantasy trilogy set in a kingdom where warriors bond with magical breeds of elementally powered warhorses, released from Enclave Publishing in December of 2021 and in audiobook, narrated by the author, from Oasis Audio in August 2022. Of Shadow and Rust, an epic short, released for newsletter subscribers in July 2023, and Of Sea and Smoke, book two of The Fireborn Epic released from Enclave Publishing and Oasis Audio in November of 2023.
The third book in the series will be coming soon.
Her nonfiction work has appeared on sites like The Storywarren, Relevant Magazine, Pursue Magazine, and The Cultivating Project.
