…I started this blog.
I’ve written only 20 posts since then. I’m always amazed when I follow other people’s blogs where they post almost every single day of the week! Where do they find the time?!! But 20 posts for one year’s work is not much… oh well. That’s what happens when you’re busy. And I’m sure my low post-count is partially due to the fact that I’m away from internet access for the 3 summer months of the year while I’m working at camp!
So… to commemorate the one year anniversary of this blog…
I’m afraid there won’t be any fireworks, or whistles, or confetti flying… no fancy contests… or giveaways…
I’m simply going to write another post on the Narnia books. I’ve been meaning to do that for a long while. I won’t have a chance to write it today, so I’ll have to try to get it up here either tomorrow or over the weekend. But it’s high time I got back to the wonderful land of Narnia – I’ve been away for far too long!
For now, I just put a new post up on my other blog: Stars in the Universe. You can read it by clicking here
So, farewell for the moment, I’m off to the land of Narnia!
Oh, and there’s an “Amazing First Chapter Contest” going on right now on Nichole White’s blog: The Pen and Parchment. There are only four entries right now with three days left, and there are two-three books offered as prizes for the three winners… so, even if you don’t think your first chapter is very good, you can join and have a fair chance at winning! It’s a fun opportunity to test the quality of your first chapter, share your work with others, get helpful feedback from other young writers and win prizes! ;)
Signing off,
